CryoCooler – K170 Series

The K170 series represents a class of high-efficiency cryocoolers for vibration-sensitive cooling applications in compact vacuum chambers. The temperature range of the K170 series is between 170K [-103°C] and 160K [-113°C]. The standardized product range of the K170 series includes several power classes up to a cooling capacity of 100W. Customization with much higher cooling capacities is possible. The cryo-compressors impress with incredibly low noise emissions and extremely small compressor units, which can be operated at high energy efficiency in any laboratory.

Our cold-heads guarantee an ultra-compact and almost vibration-free cryogenic source in the vacuum chamber with the lowest vibration amplitudes down to the sub-nanometer range. Thanks to these qualities, CryoSpectra’s CryoCooler enables cutting-edge applications such as phase-stabilized [CEP], cryogenically cooled femtosecond pulse laser amplifiers at the highest level. We offer the standard cold-head units in the compact CFF-40 flange variant or KF-50 flange variant. These are thus ideally suited for all demanding vacuum applications down to the UHV range.

Customized flange systems and electrical vacuum feedthroughs for sensors, etc. are available upon request. 

K170 Series

The compact compressor units are available as water-cooled and air-cooled units. These provide virtually maintenance-free operation, and final temperatures can be reached within 20 minutes. All cold-heads are plane polished and gold plated as standard, in order to ensure the highest quality standards regarding heat transfer, reflection and oxidation protection. These features make our systems ideally suited for all optical and other research and industrial applications.
